There are so many different activities that can keep you both busy and entertained. Sightseeing is the first thing that comes to mind when I think of this country. The pyramids is definitely a top choice for any tourist.

There are many other activities you can do here other than sightseeing - such as sampling all the exotic and exquisite local delicacies.

The first thing you need to realize is that the local cuisine here in Egypt span from the lowly sandwich up to the most luxurious meals in the kingdom. When it comes to looking for a place to eat, you will find that you have so many options available to you.

There is only one catch, however: it also largely depends on how much you want to spend on eating.

No, I’m not telling you or encouraging to go visit the casinos here, but rather just letting you know that Egypt do have a lot of them should you feel a little bored and lucky.

Or maybe perhaps shopping is more up your forte? Most tourists loves to shop in Egypt - the country is rather well known for its shopping experience.

Shopping trips to Eqypt can be very memorable, which is why Egypt is a popular holiday destination for shopaholics.

Make sure to drop by the Khan-el-Khalili when visiting Cairo. If you’re looking for any reproductions of antiques, here is the place to search for. Chances are if they don’t have it here, you can’t find it anywhere else. If you are looking for utensils, spices or jewelry; you will also find them at Khan-el-Khalili.

You will find modern and trendy shopping centers too here, especially near the Tehrir Square. When you are looking for things to do in Egypt and you think of going shopping, you should know how to bargain. Some shops have fixed prices but in some shops you can bargain.

Visiting theme parks are also one of the things you can do when in Egypt. Your kids will love you for bringing them here. Some of the theme parks here that I will recommend are Dream Park and Fantazyland. These 2 are the best theme parks to go from my experience.
